Desktop Support Analyst I is responsible for providing first level support to users of various desktop applications such as Microsoft.
Ability to multi-task and support high level of trouble shooting user issues via telephone and remote applications.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 1-2 years related work experience.
Provide on-site and/or remote resolution of multiple problems, or multiple customers, involving all desktop hardware, products, and applications. Perform troubleshooting and repair of desktop hardware problems, manage hardware break-fix inventory and coordinate vendor repair and warranty work. Perform all desktop hardware and software installations, moves, adds and changes resulting from client requests and IT initiated projects.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge repairing and replacing laptop(Dell and HP) hardware components, including Hard Drives, Motherboards, LCD Screens, and Keyboards. The position also requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows XP and Windows 7.
Job duties will require both hardware repair, as well as software installations, including the previously mentioned Operating Systems, MS Office Components(prefer experience with virtual applications) and Sprint Business Software. Incumbent should also have thorough knowledge of network configurations and remote support experience.
Solid customer service skills and experience working in a fast pace PC repair clinic is desired.
This is a driving position with the possibility of dispatch to Sprint sites. Candidate will have to pass driving background check
