Unfortunately Leadership is not supportive at this institution. No formalized training. The working hours "suggested" for salaried employees - 6 days a week including nights and weekends. The Director team isn't credentialed and their is nepitism and unprofessional behavior. The education side of the business is moderately stable. The HR department has gone through 5 Directors in 7 years ( 2 in the past 12 months) There is opportunity and a lot of risk with this for profit institution.

I would not suggest working for Galen College of Nursing . The Management and Director staff need training. The culture is high pressure.
