Certified Nursing Assistant, Grantsboro, NC - June 13, 2013
I am a certified nursing assistant and I work the 11-7 shift. The residents are usually asleep at this time of night and all we have to do is keep them dry when they wet and answer the call bells when they ring them. I have learned a lot since I have been working there. I have been there for 6 years and I have seen a lot of residents and employees come and go. The one thing that I have learned is that you have to have patience to work with the elderly. There are some very sweet ones but then we have some who can be very difficult. That is when the patience comes in. I like working with the residents and the most difficult part of the job is having to work with difficult people.
