POSITION: Community Relations Director
REPORTS TO: Corporate Marketing Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with the Realtor's motivation to sell, yet a passion for working with seniors and improving their lifestyle through exceptional accommodations and access to an active lifestyle.

This position will provide outreach marketing, community relations and sales activities necessary to achieve and exceed the Community’s move-in goals to continuously maximize occupancy.

This includes community networking and outreach to referral sources, acting as the prime inside sales representative, coordinating all marketing plan events, maintaining public relations, and recognizing responsibility for budgetary guidelines. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated by success and able to prioritize tasks to achieve goals efficiently.

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE CLOSING SALES, WORKING ON A QUOTA AND PROVEN LEADERSHIP SKILLS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: * Conduct Sales Activities that allow the facility to reach occupancy objectives.
Develop Sales and Marketing Business Plan Outreach Coordinate Outreach

  • Evaluate referral sources regularly to assess most productive time management and

outreach strategy

  • Represent community at industry off-site and on-site events
  • Adopt, follow, and maintain the records for the specific Marketing Systems utilized by

the Community including completion of all forms, processes, and procedures

  • Implement Bild system of lead processing
  • Give Community tours and explain the services that are provided. Communicate

effectively during explanations of deposit agreements, leases, etc., to prospective
Residents.

  • Review made ready apartments to insure that they are ready to show
  • Develop weekly marketing action plan and monthly marketing forecast

Events.

  • Arrange, schedule and organize a schedule of community events to promote the

awareness of the community to seniors, their families, and referral sources.
Advertising

  • Order advertising as approved in the community budget
  • Take ownership of prospect experience from initial contact to close of sale (move-in)

Marketing Materials

  • Maintain all on-site marketing materials, coordinate with Corporate Marketing Director

for development/replenishment of marketing materials Training

  • Train Marketing Assistant in referral source outreach visits and calls.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Assistant (if any) for lead handling process
  • Collaborate with Marketing Assistant as MC develops monthly information events

Competition

  • Maintain a monthly market report on competitive properties
  • Meet regular marketing goals of number of inquiries, followup attempts,followup calls to

appointments, inquiries to visits, visits to deposits, deposits to move in, completion of
reports, database management

  • Collaborate with corporate Marketing Director to suggest and develop well appointed

advertising

  • Keep up-to-date records on leads and outreach contacts in database
  • Meet predetermined goals outreach calls per month
  • Meet rations of visits-to-deposits and deposits-to-move-ins, with consistent follow-up

on contacts as established by Regional Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
: * College Degree, willingness to learn and motivation to sell

  • Excellent Time Management Skills, with ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet

strict deadlines

  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Proven Sales Experience; preferable in the senior industry
  • Experience Working on a quota
  • Experience setting goals and writing business plans
  • Ability to handle multiple demands in a courteous and organized manner, neat, clean

appearance; ability to work well with others in a cheerful and cooperative manner

  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with residents, families, care-team

members, staff and volunteers

  • Ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Experience with contact database management
  • Ability to plan, direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the work of others
  • Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent residents’ information to assure all rights are

protected

  • Refined computer skills with experience using Word and Excel
  • Ability to be creative and flexible in executing multi-faceted problem solving
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Willingness to increase job related knowledge

TECHNICAL /COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Basic Computer skills
  • Contact Database Experience
  • MS Word and Excel

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or a minimum of three years

experience in sales and/or marketing leadership role within the Senior Housing
Industry

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

  • Exempt, Full Time
