The management was well organized, structured, and reliable.
Coworkers were friendly, helpful, and fun to work with.
The hardest part of this job was to not to deviate from scripts.

A leasson learn
account rep, (Former Employee), lakeland flSeptember 25, 2014
A typical day at work is everything going according to plan and doing what they are supposed to do. I have learn working in a daycare field that you have to be patience. Patience plays a huge part in life and especially when you are dealing with children that are not your own. You have to keep your eyes on them at all times. My co-workers was very help – more... and gave me a lot of feedback when I didn't understand certain thing, My co-workers always was there to give me ideas on certain things and what I can do to improve my teaching skills. The hardiest part of this job I would have to say is watching a class all by yourself and you have to change one infant or student and then another student is on top of a toy and they could hurt their self, You will have to stop doing what you are doing and inform the student that what he or she is doing is not a good choice. – less

The Best Company I've ever worked for !
CVC Agent (Former Employee), Lakeland, FLSeptember 23, 2014
The workplace is clean and well kept, the people are very friendly and managers always give you a reason to want to go to work the next day. They always hire from within, there is plenty of opportunity to advance. And in the cafeteria they usually serve food on holidays or they have nacho day or cotton candy day for example.

Work or High School
Credit Analyst (Current Employee), Lakeland, FLSeptember 23, 2014
Pros: freedom with pace.
Cons: short breaks, small pay and childish behavior.
After clocking in you sit at the cubicle desk and take phone calls or do applications. There is no talking, you can't have any food or snacks at your desk. They monitor your break times and you only get 20 minutes for lunch. I did learn alot about credit. Some of my coworkers were nice but alot seemed childish considering the company would hire anyone. – more... The hardest thing about this job is sitting for long hours with very short breaks and the childest way some of the employees act. The most enjoyable part of the job is being left to do your work at your own pace. – less

Cons: system set-up

Collect past due payments from the buyer or co-buyer for a few hours
Take a 15 min. brake
Collect for a few more hours
Take a 1 to 2 hour lunch depending on your shift
Collect for a few more hours
Take a another 15 min. brake
Collect for a few more hours
Clock Out

When you first start you get 2 weeks of – more... training which you get paid for where they teach you how there systems and rules work.

Once your on the floor and you really start your job theres always a manager or an experienced co-worker who can help you out if you need it.

All in all its a good place to work. – less

Great workplace for advancement.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), El Paso, TXSeptember 18, 2014
Pros: always giving out bonuses for great work ethics
Cons: short lunch breaks
I LOVED the work environment. It's a great place to work and fun as well. The staff is great, co workers were awesome. The only hard thing about the job was the shifts. I would have enjoyed it more if it was able to be worked around my school schedule. The part I enjoyed most was being able to talk with customer's of different cultures and diversities.

not for everyone, but might be for some
Account Representative (Collections) (Former Employee), San Diego, CASeptember 17, 2014
Pros: loved my paycheck, great/nice people
Cons: hours
This job is not for everyone, but some might like it. And this was my first full time job 6 months after graduating from High School and it wasn't as bad. Even though the job itself was not that enjoyable, I did get a lot of great experience that will benefit me in the future, especially for my young age. This job is very different, you're calling people – more... about their debts so expect someone to get mad and yell at you or cuss you out, and don't let it bother you. I believe the company would do much better if they change some things around but not my problem anymore. Some managers are ok help, but I had one manager who was the best manager i had. She was so helpful and taught me so much, I learned more from her than the training. Even when I did not want to work there anymore (which I never told anyone) she made my day better by giving good pointers and pulling me aside after my conversations on the phone and pointed out my weaknesses and how I can improve, she made me feel better and made me want to continue the job. She was great help. I just did not like the hours and the time when they moved me from a section where I was getting money to another section that I wasn't. But overall it was a nice 3-4 months I worked there. People were friendly, nice, and down to earth and even the managers were cool. I do miss a few people and I wish I could've said my goodbyes but it is what it is. Wasn't trying to say much but I wanted to write my experience for someone who is considering this job, hope this helps and good luck. – less

Finacial Service Representative (Former Employee), Lakeland, FLSeptember 13, 2014
I will always refer back to this employer because this is where I received my start in my preferred job field of choice, However, I would have to rank GC Services as my least liked employer. The management was very strict which made it an unpleasant work place which showed in my peers work performance. I am a loyal employee in which I devoted 3 very – more... productive years and when the opportunity arise I unfortunately had to part ways. – less
