Difficult management environment. Poor scientific methodologies
Senior Research and Development Technician (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, MASeptember 7, 2017
Glad to be gone. I did not agree with the management or scientific methodologies. The work environment was uncomfortable and most of the mid level management was lack luster at best.

don't expect anything
Worker (Current Employee) –  GoogleAugust 1, 2017
This company relies on a revolving door of contract work. They dangle a "temp to hire" carrot, but never offer it. They let you go after six months even after eluding to a future offer only to pretend it was never offered. Then they add replacement contractors.
Pros
almost zero supervision
Cons
almost zero supervision

PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, MAJuly 28, 2017
GCP does not have a proper on-boarding or training process for new employees so if you don't know the products your experience may not be the greatest. New products are thrown into the mix with minimal introduction.
Pros
People are dedicated, smart and passionate
Cons
No on-boarding/training.

Horrible place to work
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Mt. Pleasant, TNApril 7, 2017
Don't walk away run away from GCP. Wacko management. They like to hire through a temp agency and cut employees hours without warning. They make promises they don't keep. When they are running full force don't expect to ever see your family then boom they lay you off. They make rules as they go.

Great workers management team less than desireable
Confidental (Current Employee) –  Cambridge, MAFebruary 10, 2017
Great people, new changes are great but need better leadership overall as they are not focused and condescending at times. The company is really trying to invest in technology and after being part of WR Grace is finally investing in the place.

Good benefits, learned a lot, upgraded my job title, good company to work for. Hardest part of job is working outside in winter time, rain, shine. Somehow managed to work if weather wasnt good at all.
