Most horrible place I ever worked
Revenue (Former Employee), DanvilleOctober 2, 2014
Pros: good insurance. be aware though to get stares if you don't use their doctors & hospital.
Cons: nosiness, biasness, favortism, no communication, always walking on eggshells. tattle tails.
This is the worst place I ever worked. Horrible bias management. No one is on the same page when wanting answers- if they're even available. Very catty atmosphere. So much like high school---cliques & bosses favorites. Horrible work environment. Hard to make the management understand when the work load was to much for one person.

Poor management
RN (Former Employee), DanvilleAugust 14, 2014
Pros: experience for on your resume
Cons: need to protect yourself. not a safe work environment
Bullies for management from bottom up and top down. Hospital does not follow its own policies. Good for new nurses who need work experience on your resume as you will get exposure to many specialties, but training is unsafe for patients in my opinion. They lose good doctors. You have to watch your back.

Company Focus on Profit not Patients
Clinician (Current Employee), DanvilleJuly 15, 2014
Pros: big parking lot at danville location.
Cons: management focus on profit over care, poor morale, untrustworthy
Very difficult place to work compared to other health care facilities. Has a strong commercial underlying emphasis which reduces clinician ability to provide effective care. Unrealistic expectations by management with a "take it or leave it" philosophy since they are major employer in NEPA. I have never worked in a facility with such low morale and distrust.

PATIENT ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE (Current Employee), KingstonJune 16, 2014
Some days can be more stressful than others, but that is the same with any job. I love the people I work with but there isn't much room for growth and you are restricted to staying in a certain position for a certain amount of time before applying to other positions throughout the company.

Learned analytical skills but not much focus and directions on tasks to do. Management needs to be present and not on the phone traveling.

Clinical Pharmacist (Current Employee), Danville, PASeptember 29, 2013
Pros: no weekends, no night shift, off national holidays, knowledgable/experienced peers
Cons: no overtime pay, short breaks, non-competative salary
Typical day involves the monitoring/adjusting of anticoagulants in the outpatient setting via in-person appointments (using point of care testing) or phone.

Management is receptive to suggestions/ideas and is always pushing for individuals to grow and advance their scope of practice

The most challenging aspect of the position is the daily patient case workload; it is ever increasing as the different specialties begin to refer patients to the service.
