Great place to work and grow with the company.
Die Setter (Current Employee) –  Paducah, KYNovember 23, 2016
Genova in Kentucky is a growing company with a lot of potential for advancement. The company is family owed which is a plus. Management is the best of any company I have ever worked for. Every day there is something new to learn which is a plus for most people. I would recommend this company to any prospects that are looking for a stable job. The insurance is a big plus.
Pros

Production Employee (Current Employee) –  Paducah, KYNovember 17, 2016
Management is easy to get along with. All you have to do is show up for work and do your job. We are treated with respect and we are given help when we need it.
Pros
Flexible work schedule for some positions
Cons
Growing at a fast rate, high turnover

You give your best. They take away benefits.
Production Worker (Current Employee) –  Faribault, MNOctober 6, 2016
Hardest part of job is going into building. Most enjoyable? Quitting time. Management doesn't acknowledge employees. Treated like trash. Employees quitting all the time. Diesetters overworked.Have two out of three "auditors" who think they are in charge and show obvious favoritism toward certain workers. Have two floor people labeling and making boxes for 16 presses if not more. No raise in yrs. Try living off 13.45/hr. You do not want to work here! Oh! Mandatory Saturdays at this time. It's summer.
Pros
None
Cons
Plant manager and Asst plant Manager (the worst of the two) and C. S.

Toxic Workplace
Plant Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Faribault, MNApril 9, 2016
The overall morale at this plant is bad. Not only have the general labor not received raises in 7 years but the management is unconnected to there employees.

There is no continuous improvement, the upper management staff are inconstant and there is no communication. Issues brought to the table are over looked and forgotten about.

The plants turnover rate is very high, bad management runs out good employees and that is what happens here.
Pros
There are none.
Cons
The company doesn't show that they care about there employees.

Maintenance (Current Employee) –  Fort Wayne, INMarch 20, 2016
still operating as if this where 1970, micro managed from the corporate office. no communication between workers (the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing) low level supervisors and leads have a standing policy of managing through fear. giving up part of your personal time to the company is expected. pay is below the prevailing wages.
Pros
most of the floor workers are good people
Cons
to many to list

Not a bad place until it shut down
Extrusion Die Setter/Industrial Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Hazleton, PAFebruary 11, 2014
Less stressfull than some operator jobs. No mandatory OT. Typical benefits for the plants around here. Slightly higher pay. The best palce was you got to take your vacations when you wanted and there was no mandatory OT. If you wanted it there was lots to be had. But you were never forced. High turnover though.
