Mental Health Services Worker, Bridgewater, NJ - February 24, 2016
I think that with all places of employment, there are pro's and con's. During my time at Genpsych, there was a lot of growth, which I was more then happy to be a part of. It provided me with a great learning environment and experience. However, it often felt like there wasn't enough staff, and some disorganization. The staff I worked with was amazing, and my direct supervisor was always willing to sit down and give me feedback, or even just talk about what was going on in my life. Even though I was under the impression that my job was secure, it was not, unfortunately. Hours were cut. Sometimes it did feel like we were under appreciated by upper management, and certain people were favored. But I think that is to be expected with any job. There was a lot of changes, and often a lack of communication too. But overall, do I think it was a terrible place to work? Absolutely not. Can I understand why employees have been unhappy here? Absolutely.
