The company has a diverse group of energetic people, striving for the same end goal of producing high quality product for US and international Customer. It's busy from the start of each day with countless deadlines and schedules to meet. And yet it is also cyclical. Learned a great deal of patience in order to maintain sanity during the onset, duration and completion of customer contracts. Product lead times flex, meaning a customer can pull-in orders which creates high stress levels in order to maintain new schedules. R&D programs have potential to have an extended life but once approved for production the longevity is, for the most part, extensive. The life support product produced gives an employee the job satisfaction and appreciation for those that use it. The culture is relaxed yet you are expected to perform. The hardest part, in my role, is keeping management to realize procured product lead time and flow that down through our production cycle. Summer sees, softball league memberships form with employees, basketball is enjoyed after hours by small groups of employees on a weekly basis - unless there is extensive overtime.
