Here's what people have asked and answered about working for and interviewing at Genuine Parts Company/NAPA Auto Parts.
Nice laid back culture very productive
Standard hours , pretty consistent for the most part of the day.
It took a couple of weeks. You get a full orientation at the distribution center which is very nice and professional in appearance.
The interview process was the best thing this company had to offer other than the benefits. The interview was about an hour long and was asked about everything in the book. I give the interview a 8/10 rating.
Daunting. See way to many customers way to infrequently to build any kind of lasting relationship except very loyal high volume
customers. No even weekly follow-up because of over demanding
Very quick to place a customer on COD. Does not communicate to store if a payment is made after a customer is placed on COD
and taken off. Immediately charges tax to a tax exempt customer
after any account change status is made to that account.
