ASE PARTS PROFESSIONAL (Current Employee) – Winston-Salem, NC – June 13, 2015
Start my day by counting my money drawer, tend to any customers needing my assistance, putting up any stock we receive for the day, check for any new price changes, do planogram updates, tackle any newmore... training available to me, tackle any challenges that come to me or are asked of me. End my day with a count down of money drawer to balance out my day. I enjoy my job and my duties and love my customers dearly, I treat each one of them with the utmost respect and that is why they have been coming back to me for years. When I see a new face come into my store I treat them like I have known them for years and they do come back. less
Fun workplace with students from the same College.
Delivery Driver/Customer Service (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – June 9, 2015
- Delivering and Customer Service would be a typical day of work. - Communication with customer to help satisfy their needs. - Management was good overall. - Co-workers were friendly, and helpful. - Hardest part of the job was to drive with traffic and to get back on time. - Most enjoyable part of the job was the co-workers.
Counter sales and delivery driver (Former Employee) – Dallas, TX – June 8, 2015
They make you feel like part of a big team. There is online training that you are required to complete. Very nice discount on auto parts for employees. Everyday is something new the customers make the job fun. Good company to work for overall i enjoyed my year at NAPA.
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) – redding, ca – May 27, 2015
start out with pulling working orders for other napa auto parts, then putting parts away, learned a little bit about car parts, management was ok, co-workers were great, putting heavy parts away, the people and customers I worked with.
Shuttle Parts Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Tampa, FL – May 10, 2015
Even though I loved my driver position, I must say that the pay per hour was extremely disappointing. I worked for Napa for 11 years and during that time, even though I moved up the line in positions,more... my pay per hour only moved slightly. I started at $7/hr & when I left (11 years later) I only made $9.65/hr.
There are a lot of friendly people, including the store managers. They understand how you feel because they've been in your place. Area management is a completely different story.
The benefits are the best reasons to stay! Their medical benefits, 401K & other benefits are wonderful. I would love to find another job with the same benefits as Napa. less
Part Time Delivery Driver (Current Employee) – Pantego, TX – May 4, 2015
Delivery Drivers are asked to stock the store when not delivering which gets repetitive and boring very quickly. Only allowed part time hours. No interest in training you for success unless you have a bachelor's degree or know someone inside administration. Other than that, great contacts with very great mechanics and great discounts for employees.
Manager in Training (Former Employee) – Nashville, TN – April 24, 2015
