A very productive and enjoyable place to work at.
Unit Secretary (Current Employee), Washington, DC –
I greeted patients and family members, nurses, Dr.'s and anyone else who come on my unit with a smile, my unit is a lovely unit to work on, my co-workers are hard working staff members as well as myself. The hardest part of the job was when we lost a patient from death, seeing the family members having to loose their loveones was the hardest, my staff – more...  and I tried our best to make sure the family is comfort through the staff as well as each other. The most enjoyable part of my job is putting a smile on the patient, family members of the patient and staff members faces through my hard work and dedication – less

productive and fun work place, nurses lounge w/gourmet coffee, massage loungers, serenity fountain
RN Traveler (Former Employee), DC –
Pros: friendly, supportive staff, free coffee!
Cons: no benefits
GUH was an excellent travel assignment with a dynamic manager and physicians that worked in a collaborative practice. Although I was a traveler I was treated as a staff member. I enjoyed the assignment so much that I was there for almost 4 years on "13week" assignment
