Clerical Office Worker (Former Employee) – Milledgeville, GA – August 22, 2017
Worked in the Psychology Departments front office. I learned how many different styles the instructors had with teaching and handouts, as well as exams. The hardest part of the job was compiling stats for incoming students scores on the SAT. The most enjoyable part would be helping the students who came into the office as well as the instructors.
Peer Tutor (Former Employee) – Milledgeville, GA – April 7, 2017
The wages are nothing to call home over but the hours fit perfectly into a student schedule. Rewarding work as far as helping peers. Good way to get more familiar with professors in your department as well.
Great Place to Work if Your Department is Properly Funded
SOAR Coordinator (Former Employee) – Milledgeville, GA – September 7, 2016
I enjoyed my time here. In total I was there over 8 years four as a student and four as a working professional. Mostly everyone knows each other it's a very friendly place to be. Depending on your position it is a great work life balance and also there are some wonderful supervisors. There are always campus events and activities going on. Get involved in the community as well. It's a small town, but that's not always a bad thing. There are also some really great restaurants in the area. Also take advantage of networking opportunities, it definitely pays off if you want to advance your career here.
Very friendly environment, students are wonderful, staff and supervisors very supportive
