Gerrie Electric is a family owned business, founded in 1957 by Ken Gerrie. Today we are the largest independent electrical distributor in Ontario. Our sales are in excess of 80M and we employ over 200 qualified staff including automation and data comm specialists. Our market is primarily focused in the "Golden Horseshoe" of Ontario but our – more... customers range from Industrial end users like Ford, GM, Stelco and Dofasco, to OEM machine builders and systems integrators, to the contractor and commercial markets, and local municipalities and universities. Our product lines are such that we can service all of these markets completely and our high service levels ensure that our customers get the products and services they need, when they need them.
Since 1981 Gerrie has been known as "The Place To Go" for high tech automation products and services. With a staff of 20 outside and inside support specialists, our Automation Group provides products and solutions to make the industries of today more efficient and profitable.
