Directors,Managers and Supervisors were very patient, helpful and awesome to work with.
Exhibitor Services Executive-Temporary Position (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NVAugust 17, 2014
I admire their training style. The leads that took the time to train were VERY patient, they have shown that if you train employees thoroughly and are patient to answer the same questions 100 times you will have success. Although you are trained and are given tools to prepare for the job at task, I have learned that on hands experience is not taught. – more... On a typical day, I have learned how to multi task upon multi task, delegate, organized and ask for help at the same time. I have enjoyed my time at GES and have walked away with a better understanding on how customer service is very vital to any job. – less

Field Service Coordinator (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NVJuly 13, 2014
Pros: good salary & benefits
Cons: insensitive company.
This is a good paying company, however, it's not a very humanitarian company. You're a number at GES rather than a person.

A learning experience
Labor Coordinator (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NVMay 18, 2014
This job was a temporary position for short bursts of time whenever large conventions were coming into the convention center and extra help was required. During this assignment I learned how to quickly prioritize according to demand, and learned even more about payroll correction and human resources paperwork. I didn't have much contact with management, – more... but worked some very long hours with familiar faces that I was able to develop a routine with. The most difficult part of the job was the monotony of the data entry. However, I was challenged and quite enjoyed the variety of people and locations I experienced here. – less

BAD management
Exhibitor Services Coordinator (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NVApril 28, 2014
Pros: co workers
Cons: call center management
IF they got rid of the management in the call center and start with a fresh slate, it would be a better place to work! The co-workers are great but need to be a butt kisser to work at showsite. A LOT OF FAVORITISM!

Proactive company but not a lot of room for advancement.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Foxborough, MAApril 23, 2014
Pros: some employees with accepted to new employees, most worked by themselves.
Cons: office park was in a rural area, 15 minute drive for basic drive thru lunches.
This was a great company to work for but was very cliquey. Had a great number of people to work with but they did not accept new employees well. Management pretty well stayed in their offices & rarely came out unless for coffee or lunches. They celebrated holidays with massive lunches and everyone (including warehouse employees) celebrated together. – more... Main Sr. VP told all employees how well company was doing and how much profit was made, which was nice for winter holidays, – less

management (Former Employee), Teterboro, NJMarch 4, 2014
Pros: it was a job
Cons: everything from quality of life to working conditions
The worst company I have ever worked for. The senior management team was clueless as far as how to efficiently run a facility and manage their employees. The employees were nothing more then just a coq in the wheel. No respect for anyones personal needs.

Supervisor/ Jim Carr (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NVSeptember 23, 2013
Pros: it paid the bills
Cons: pigeon-holed into one spot and one spot only
Felt like an assembly-line work-structure with micro-management. But it paid the bills. Was limited in growth opportunities and was provided minimal training,

Great Structure, No Job Security
Service Delivery Coordinator (Former Employee), Las VegasApril 25, 2013
Pros: solid structure
Cons: turnover rate
as call centers go its one of the top ones in the country, with that said, I started the Job with 10 other people, within 6 months 6 of those people were gone. when ever some one is sick and are out for the day, your first assumption is that they were let go. the turn over rate is too high
