About GHG Corporation
Today, GHG provides Internet services to over 6,000 users for dial-up and dedicated access. Our connections to the backbone are achieved via a DS-3 from Cable & Wireless and one T-1 from Savvis, for a total of 7.5 Mbps of bandwidth. Having connections through more than one backbone provider ensures redundancy should an outage ever occur. GHG uses – more... Cisco hardware for routing and switching, Lucent Maxen for digital terminal servers, multiple Sun systems for web, email, news, name service, and ftp servers, a Network Appliance file server, as well as other UNIX-based ancillary systems.
In addition to access numbers in Houston, GHG also has a number originating at the Clear Lake Southwestern Bell central office for those customers with Verizon non-Metro telephone service dialing in from League City, Dickinson, Kemah, Nassau Bay and Seabrook.
GHG Internet Services is a division of GHG Corporation. Incorporated in 1979 as a process control engineering firm, GHG has grown to more than 500 employees. In addition to providing Internet service, GHG has a strong background in the engineering, training and software development industries. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
