Candidate should be a CPA (or CPA eligible) with 3 to 5 years experience in public accounting firm performing audits of clients in various industries.
This position includes responsibilities such as audit planning documentation, conducting field work, and preparing audit programs for a diverse client base including non-public companies, non-profits & employee benefit plans. No SEC or governmental experience needed. Knowledge of GAAS and GAAP is required. As a member of an engagement team, you will not only prepare and review audit workpapers, but also will participate in engagement planning and management and will provide critical in-field training for staff.
Successful candidates will have experience with paperless public accounting, preferably with ProSystem fx Engagement, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 and Adobe Standard or Professional. Excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong client service orientation, and the ability to meet deadlines and budget time efficiently are mandatory.
