Close-knitted team environment
Recruiter (Current Employee), Washington, DC – April 14, 2013
The branch I work at is small, and I work mainly with another recruiter and an account manager. Together the three of us manage our client base and place candidates at temporary positions. The office environment allows us to work closely together, manage certain tasks on our own, and utilize each others' strengths.

Assurant had ups and downs
Chase Bank Loss Draft Associate (Former Employee), Duluth GA – April 12, 2013
Pros: fast way in!
Cons: faster way out!
I worked at Assurant through a staffing company called Global Employment Solutions. It started out great, but as the demand was depleted head began to role in this once friendly atmosphere. Once Assurant let me 80% of the temps in the building there was no work from Global Employment Solutions

Temporary to Permanent Employment (Former Employee), Valhalla, NY – March 17, 2013
Pros: variety of jobs, locations.
Cons: not permanent work.
Today's economy demands versatility. You have to be ready to adapt to several types of jobs. The best way to achieve that is through the use of a temporary agency.

Agency Environment
Executive Recruiter (Former Employee), PA – December 4, 2012
Cut-throat, agency recruiting environment. Aggressive, competitive, and often very shakey morals.

Productive and intelligent temp agency where I can get multiple position experiences
Concierge/Receptionist (Current Employee), Rockville, MD – November 21, 2012
Pros: wage
Cons: temp agency, not enough hours
Provide prompt, courteous service to all external and internal customers.
Respond to customer calls in the call center; with the ability to answer more calls during busy times.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to customer problems.
Identify and resolve customer issues.
Write small application modules and reports to calculate payroll.
Assist – more... with special projects as assigned.
Work overtime as needed, especially during quarter-end and year-end.
Other duties as assigned.
I have learned a lot about management and how to better-manage my time to complete tasks in a orderly fashion.
Hardest part of my job is the hours in my opinion because I personally do not feel as if I get enough hours during the week.
Most enjoyable part of my job is to better myself with management while working for internal/external customers – less

Temp work to fill in the gaps
Office Clerk (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – July 27, 2012
I was kept busy with assignment through GES. From the time that I started until I left the area, I was unemployed only 2 weeks. The recruiters are up beat and I always enjoyed where I was placed. The typical work that I did was repetitive but kept me busy.

Poor working conditions
Warehouse (Former Employee), Buford GA – February 29, 2012
Pros: pay
Cons: everything else
Poor working conditions, and lack of management. Training only covers workplace safety. Your day is not itemized, and in most case you have to guess you task. There are no breaks eat before you show. Eat allot before you show, and hope the people you get to work with are nice enough to show you around.

Digital Multi Media Coordinator (Former Employee), Houston, Texas – February 24, 2012
Pros: you get paid every friday.
Cons: feeling uneasy
While being there, I saw employees being let go, because of assignment completed, which was told by the laid off employees at the time.
