Pros: you are your own boss, kind of.
Cons: you get nothing on comision only and you pay $300 per month out of pocket to work for them?
They want you to work on comission only, no pay, no healthcare, no vacation time, and you pay them $300 per month for the use of their website. Then if a customer has a $15,000 invoice and doesnt want to pay it, or goes out of business, they take it out of your pay check. So they never lose on anything, if customer doesnt pay they get it from you, if you quit they will go after your past customers. They also have an inside sales team that goes after your current customer list, for example: You have Company ABC set up at 20% profit margins and you and Globaltranz are splitting that profit 50/50, well the inside sales team will call that same customer and tell them that they can set them up a 15% margins costing you a customer and Globaltranz still makes a 50/50 split and dont care if its 15% margin or 20% margin. So you dont just battle other 3PL's, and carriers, but your very own company. NO team work at all, its just everyone for themselves and the owner doesnt care. And the truck department is an absoult joke, you will lose more $$$ on this if you ever do lock down a truck in the 1st place. Trust me this isnt a upset past agent, but I know this company inside and out, from the owner to the newest hired agent, they do not care about employees or customers. Only interested in selling franchises and signing up more agents, if they quit no big deal they will just go after your past clients.
