While working at GlobalTranz I have grown as a professional and am extremely thankful for everything this company has provided. I love to have the ability to control my own income all while growing accounts and maintaining carrier relations. It becomes a game to continually challenge your relationship with your carriers for rates to beat out your peers to ensure coverage, margin, and ultimately the success of servicing an account. Being the middle man in such a large process, that being logistics, it makes you realize how organized and efficient one has to be to succeed. The most enjoyable part is growing accounts YEOY originating from an RFP, to seeing the GP from the carrier base you created on the lanes you quoted. The company has seen changes over the past 6 months from CEO, Directors, Vice Presidents, and even a layoff of 60+ employees which is a cause for concern; all of which is the reasoning of leaving my application on this site.
