The LBR incorporates a MAC layer Ethernet bridge for high capacity bridging of all Ethernet traffic types, including IP and Voice-over-IP. With autosense for 10/100 Ethernet and full or half duplex LAN support, combined with 802.1d Spanning Tree functionality, the LBR requires very little in the way of initial configuration. The LBR-100 supports 100 Mbps and the LBR-20 supports 20 Mbps. In addition to the full duplex bridging capabilities, both modems include two independent DSX-1 (1.544 Mbps) interfaces for transport of voice between digital PBXs or other legacy T1 traffic. The DSX-1 interfaces operate equally well for channelized or unchannelized T1 applications. Line of site distances up to 5 miles are easily achieved using the panel antenna which is part of the outdoor unit. The LBR-Series far outperforms ISM band radios and Infrared or Laser devices. And it is easily managed using SNMP or the native HTML Graphical User Interface. Go Wireless Data also offers the EX-1 ethernet extender providing 8Mbps full duplex/16Mb half duplex throughput operating in the U-NII band.
