Pros: fun trainings, luncheons, pot lucks, staff dress up, week of Christmas/New Years off
Cons: no room for advancement, uniform
The management was nice and fairly respectful. They did their best to make themselves available to the employees if we ever needed anything. They also had a lot of fun things for the staff (massages, fun trainings, luncheons, dress-up days). I really enjoyed working here and the ladies I worked with were the best. They children and parents were also very loveable and I always felt appreciated. The major downside was that there really wasn't any room for advancement. Once you were in a position you were pretty much stuck there. I spent a year as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher and even though I feel like I proved that I was capable of taking over the classroom (the lead teacher left to have a baby and then decided not to return) the director told me that I was incompetent and wanted to move me away from my kids and into a different classroom. I was offended that I was treated like I hadn't earned my keep. I decided to leave because of that, and also to attend to some personal issues. If I had left on better terms with the director, it is definitely a place that I would consider returning too.
