GoGrid is a fun place to work. What makes it best is the people on the team. You won't find a more fun, honest, and caring group of people. Although the culture itself is lacking, the people are great and I have walked away with many great friends.
The product itself is lack-luster. Upper management, does not give anything enough time to flourish. They change directions and strategy before anything has a chance to be evaluated or optimized. Killing project, products and teams, before they even have a chance to get off the ground. As a result during the time I was there I have seen 3 major lay-offs. Including 3 full rounds of C-Level execs.
It is a great place to start a career. Because of the lack of structure the organization has, you can do just about anything you want to do. If you have an idea, you have the opportunity to bring it to life. Teams are small and budgets are tight, so you will work on everything and have your hands in a variety of projects, leading to over all and pretty well rounded experience.
