The management for this company is always changing.
They can't keep a regional manager or director to save their lives! Some of the older properties haven't been updated and the rent doesn't add up with the condition of the apartments at all.
The property managers do whatever they want without consulting corporate. Working in the field is like every man for himself. They micro manage and dont care wether you call HR or not.
God forbid you work as a leasing agent for a property that doesn't have an assistant manager. They'll pay you at a leasing agent rate but make you do everything an assistant manager does!
The stress is unbearable. You're better off working retail and having a life outside of work. They don't pay you nearly enough as they should pay in order for you to remain sane. They'll call you on your days off and email you on your lunch. It's like you never get a day off.
The best thing about working here is that sense of community that you gain and relationships you build with the residents.
