Fun atmosphere but bad pay and bad hours
Sales (Current Employee), Syracuse, Utah –
It is a fun environment in that you are constantly around others and get opportunities to meet and help new people. But pay is almost all sales based. Payed minimum wage hourly + commissions for selling new memberships. Owners are very uptight and make it a difficult work environment.

its like high school all over again-not a good place to work for a career

Cons: pay, and everything else about the job
its filled with drama. everyone is cheating on their significant others with everyone else and its riduculous and disgusting. everyone is nice to each others faces but two faced behind their backs. its all about money, money and money...who cares about the employees...are their thoughts

working at a gym is great if you like mopping floors and cleaning up after people. its like changing a diapper on an perosn 18-50.
