Pros: free gym membership, great kids, great friendships
Cons: angry customers, not spending enough time with the kids!
On a day to day basis parents would bring the children into the Kids Club center at Golds Gym so the parents could work out. During a typical work day I would start with all of my paper work, excell spread sheets, reciepts, hand outs, etc. Then my employees and I would play with the children. We would have musical chairs, dance offs, Wii battles, Playground
– more... time, Movie time, Face paint, and much more. The management changed frequently at Golds Gym, but was typically always very well kept and minimal changes. Our employees were absolutely amazing people who cared so much to provide a fun time for the children of the Kids Club. The hardest part of the job would be paging a parent when the 2 hour time limit was up. Because the Kids Club was not a technical 'Day Care' if a child was in the Club for even 1 minute the time limit the gym could have gotten a fine. The most enjoyable part of the job was helping the children realize and understand that sitting in front of the TV is boring, and that running around having fun and getting exercise in was a million times better! – less
