Escalation Support Engineering Manager (Current Employee) – Farmers Branch, TX – October 13, 2015
Horrible executive management drove company out of business. Everything is incredibly under resourced so that nothing gets done properly and everyone is terribly burned out. Management acknowledges the problem but does nothing about it and makes excuses for lack of any planning or strategy.
ENGINEER (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – February 6, 2015
It was a joy working for Good. My team was awesome and I learned a lot.
The recent layoff came as a shock to many people. The rumor is that the CEO was trying to make the accounting look better prior to the IPO. The layoffs were not handled professionally and the manner in which they were done showed a lack of respect for those laid off.
People went for vacation after working very hard and came back to the news that they had been let go. Many managers whose reportee's were axed were not consulted.
collaborative environment, free snacks, good work life balance
A typical day consisted of wearing multiple hats and performing any duty necessary in order to get the job done. Managing the small details that fit into the big picture were necessary on a daily basis. This position taught me a lot about start up companies, all hands on deck atmosphere and supporting a variety of different personalities. This was a fantastic environment with wonderful people.
Working for a successful company and be part of a team to exceed company revenue.
