Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities Required

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

2-5+ years of supervisory experience and managing a P&L. Specific experience will determine level of supervisory skills required.
Experience in the IT sector and knowledge of IT hardware.
Understanding of the recycling industry (Reconnect).
Experience in the retail sector with special emphasis on store layout, pricing, and promotion.
Able to manage employees with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, some who are not co-located with the manager, and can build strong teams who will deliver excellent results and performance.
Able to analyze systems and develop improved production, financial, and sales processes.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other web applications.
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Able to lift 20 lbs.
Responsible for the overall management and operation of the department including operations in Waco. Duties include, but are not limited to the improvement, development, and management of the ComputerWorks operations and sales (store and online) including product recovery, assessment, refurbishment, and recycling.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Manages all Austin ComputerWorks (CWs) operations and oversees Waco CWs operations, including receiving and processing of computer-related donations and recycling operations. Ensures quality of goods and services.
Maintains appropriate standards of cleanliness and organization of sales floor and production areas.
Ensures departmental compliance with all company policies and procedures particularly as it relates to store operations.
Demonstrates ethics and compliance with Corporate Compliance Program.
Communicates routinely with leadership team to discuss issues, gaps, successes, solutions, strategy, budgets, goals, etc.
Manages the recruiting, selecting, developing, evaluating, and counseling his/her employees.
Directs, supervises, and coordinates staff activities to assure store goals and objectives are being met.
Maintains positive, team atmosphere and relationship with peers, subordinates and other departments.
Develops assistant managers to assume responsibility when manager is out of office/vacation and as part of career progression and development.
Assures customers receive efficient and courteous service. Receives and answers, within established guidelines, customer questions and complaints.
Ensures a safe working environment for all employees.
