Gordon food service store is a very productive place to work. They teach their sales associates the importance of customer service making them the top priority, while also completing other tasks like stocking shelves.
Good management, enough time on breaks, good work environment
Sales Associate (Current Employee) – Milwaukee, WI – August 29, 2016
The place is very laid back. The coworkers are very down to earth and the managers are great. Hardest part of the job is how much you have to get done do to the store being small. the store my look small but it has a huge amount of items. You are expected to get a whole isle done in 30 mins no matter how bad it is.

Cashier, (Former Employee) – Boardman, OH – August 5, 2016
work like a grocery store - but more personable with people. Stocking shelves and helping customers and cleaning Some managers ok but others don't care. They are always hiring new people and don't give the workers already there enough hours. They always hire new people and give everyone less hours. It is a good job if you are just starting out in the work force or in high school.
learn a lot about every aspect of the grocery business
Holding just one position could get a little stagnant here. If you ask to be trained in all departments then you will get trained. That kept the days going, and I was always able to help with whatever management needed.
