Designer, San Antonio, TX - July 19, 2014
Management was either EGO driven or invisible. Unfortunately, management has changed several times, but never solid. Even as Design Managers, there were unprofessional behavioral explosions on individuals that were unnecessary versus critiques on your work and work ethic. The culture was diverse in the hanger however culture with in the office positions was limited. I was belittled, underappreciated and discriminated against daily by my 'mentor'. To be instructed "do not leave your cubicle, do not to ask questions, you will not be spoon fed" is a huge disappointment and frankly a joke. When hired, I expected to learn from my peers. The knowledge of my experience was known at the time of my hire, yet the effort to TEACH anything was non existent. I relocated myself for an opportunity to LEARN and experience aviation and the re-fabrication of custom interiors. I loved what they did...But there was no one keeping anyone on their toes. I gained a few friends, but ALL of them have left this company. I had very high hopes for my experience here and was let down by the owners and managers in play. The company has a lot of potential...But so do I!
