Direct Care Staff, Centerville, OH - October 6, 2017
My typical day at work involves cleaning tasks and making sure the residents have a safe space while they are sleeping. I have learned many things about taking care of other people. How important it is for them to keep their dignity and remain in charge of their life decisions. My manager is wonderful and caring. She definitely has the residents' best interest at heart. My coworkers for the most part are great people; we get along great. The hardest part of this job is keeping shenanigans to a minimum. The ladies that live in my house are extremely manipulative and constantly lie, so efficient communication between coworkers is essential.
