About Granherne

To meet the growing demand from the international oil and gas market, Granherne has steadily expanded its operations to ensure that we are able to service our clients needs in both established and developing petroleum producing regions of the world; helping to shape the right project and select the right products. We have a growing network of international – more... offices in Europe, USA, Canada, Oman, Qatar, Africa, Asia and Australia, and have the experience to set up new office locations in rapid response to client needs for specific projects.

The company's sound understanding of global operations is vital in determining the best solution for new projects in the developing regions. This has been clearly demonstrated in our many assignments, ranging from Africa to Asia and Australia, and from Brazil to the Middle East and the Caspian. Granherne has successfully carried out projects, both large and small, in more than 20 countries.

Transferring technology to developing regions can only be achieved successfully with an in-depth appreciation of the wider range of technical, commercial, political and logistics issues in each geographical area. Where appropriate, we are able to call upon the added resources of our parent and sister companies within the Halliburton organisation, which, as the largest service provider to the international oil and gas industry, has unmatched specialised knowledge and experience around the globe.

Fabrication, installation and operating resources ensure that all aspects of facilities constructability and operability essential ingredients in any development project are fully considered from the outset, with due regard to local infrastructure and services. Selecting the most effective contracting strategy to suit each particular project in each country is also a critical success factor, which we address through our business-orientated approach.

In support of field development projects, Granherne operates Fieldplan, a comprehensive planning tool including an extensive database of up to date technical and commercial information gathered from international projects. This sophisticated knowledge base goes beyond the capabilities of standard planning and calculation tools, incorporating design criteria and practical feedback from experience gained on world-wide developments.

For many upcoming international offshore developments, deepwater technology is the principal driver. Granherne's engineering resources include around 75 subsea and pipeline specialists with first hand design experience of more than 100 subsea developments, including step out expansion projects, marginal fields and major subsea schemes. Our marine technology group includes around 25 specialists experienced in the full range of floating production vessels in water depths ranging up to 3000m, with developments located up to 200km from shore in regions including West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil. Reservoir evaluation, flow assurance with regard to hydrate and wax formation, multiphase flow, subsea separation, risers and mooring systems, long distance step-outs and subsea structures, pipelines and floating production facilities are among the specialised capabilities which place Granherne at the forefront of today's deepwater technology solutions. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
