TRIO Office Assistant (Former Employee) – Aberdeen, WA – September 24, 2017
This was a great place to work while attending college. It is very family oriented and positive. The only downfall is that most positions are work-study positions with little advancement. Again, overall it is a wonderful place to work. I would highly recommend working there if you plan on staying in this small community.
Research Assistant (Former Employee) – Aberdeen, WA – March 21, 2017
I worked in research for the new ethnic center that was built. My research was on where people could find information on Women's issues, Homosexuality, American Indians in the area, and other cultures and ethnicities that would be great for people to learn about.
I was part-time while I went to classes for my AAS in Human services.
All the professors were great to learn from and enjoyed what I received in knowledge from the College.
My time there is filled with fond memories. An excellent place to work.
Assistant Instructor and Hatchery Manager (Former Employee) – Aberdeen, WA – February 3, 2016
I was fortunate enough to be hired in as the assistant instructor to the Fisheries and Wildlife Professor while still attending school. I was also employed as the campus salmon hatchery manager. Computer Lab Assistant (Former Employee) – Aberdeen, WA – October 15, 2015
I worked closely with the Lab Manager to help students find the answers that were needed to do the work that was required in their classes for mainly Microsoft Software. We used all four programs that Microsoft offers. Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, and Power Point. Some questions were more challenging than others that I even had to play with the program a little to understand what the text book was asking for. I found this job fun, exciting, and never the same twice.
