Great Bay Services is a non-profit human services organization in Newington, NH providing support for adults with developmental disabilities, enabling them to live and work in the community as independently as possible and with a high quality of life and is currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for the Main Office. The organization needs a person that is highly organized, flexible, outgoing, has the ability to multi task and is a team player. The successful candidate will serve as the “go to” person for the organization, be skilled in correspondence and in dealing with the public, be able to prioritize and pay high attention to detail. They will serve as the receptionist creating a welcoming environment as they answer and direct phone calls, receive visitors, and assist our clients and employees. This person will be expected to manage projects, conduct research, maintain charts and files, track required documentation, retrieve information for staff, and generally provide immediate support for all staff and visitors.
It is expected that this individual will be proficient with Office, specifically Word and Excel and have at least two (2) years of office experience, an Associates Degree or higher is preferred. The individual will have exceptional organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience with State and Federal reporting is preferred.
The position requires a valid driver’s license, as well as, proof of auto insurance, and will be subject to a background check, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services check, and a Motor Vehicle record check - all must all be returned with no findings. Please note that due to our mission this position may involve contact with some individuals with mal-adaptive behavior, some of whom may exhibit assaultive behavior, as well as, the possibility of exposure to bodily fluids.
This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm.
