GREAT PLACE TO BRING FAMILY
STYLIST (Former Employee), Saginaw, TXOctober 6, 2014
Pros: improve cutting skills, knowledge
Cons: too far
IVE LEARNED THAT THE CLIENTS LOVE FOR YOU TO REMEMBER THEM AND LITTLE FACTS ABOUT THEM. I LOVE THE CONSISTENCY OF THE FLOW OF CLIENTS TO WORK WITH. ITS ALWAYS GREAT TO HAVE A DOWN TO EARTH KNOWLEDGABLE MANAGER THAT CAN HELP YOU WORK OUT THE KINKS IN THE INDUSTRY. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU REMAIN PROFESSIONAL WITH YOUR COWORKERS BUT STILL BE THAT UPLIFTING PERSON. THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB IS WHEN WE HAVE SLOW DAYS. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART IS WORKING WITH AND SATISFYING THE CLIENTS.

Not amazing
Hairstylist (Current Employee), Sandy, OROctober 5, 2014
Pros: gaining good experience.
Cons: too little pay, random schedule
A typical day is doing lots of haircuts on many textures of hair. I have learned from this experience that I do not like rushing a haircut. The hardest part of this job is not being able to take the time to give a quality haircut and give personalized attention. The best part is getting experience.

I loved working here
Stylist (Former Employee), StylistSeptember 30, 2014
Pros: great place, great people
I loved this job handing customers and their needs is a fun job. I always loved going into work especially learning something new that day for sure.
I ended up having to move out of the location area of my job and also my car decided to break down. I had no way to work at all so I had to put in my two weeks.

Productive , fun, fast paced environment with potential to earn as much as you want.
Manager (Former Employee), Anchorage, AKSeptember 24, 2014
Pros: awards, and contests.
Cons: healthcare
A typical day at work, including opening the slaon, balancing the drawer, providing exceptional customer service, and performing other office and salon duties. I learned alot about customer service and business management. Management and my co-workers were all very supportive and helpful. The hardest and best part of the job was being short staffed, it was hard because there was never enough time in the day it seemed, and it was great because my team and I constantly kept the salon a float and saw what we were made of.

Long hours. Minimum wage, great tips. I loved all my customers and all my coworkers. The only disadvantage was standing on my feet all day however it was not a burden.
