Our Company harvests, manufactures and supplies critical feed (Artemia) to fish and shrimp hatcheries around the world.

Principle Duties: Responsible for providing leadership, logistical support and guidance to the Company’s Harvest Operations.
Details of Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to: 1) Provide leadership in planning, coordinating and implementing harvest support operations; 2) Manage harbor operations, including but not limited to: scheduling transport boats, overseeing product off-loading and weighing operations; scheduling truck transportation; coordinating fuel and parts purchases; 3) help coordinate the maintenance of harbor, harvest equipment and support equipment; 3) Provide accurate reporting regarding harvest and operations; 4) Communicate, train, and enforce company safety policies, and maintain an overall safe working environment; 5) Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited four-year college or university and at least three years’ experience in a substantive leadership capacity—with a strong background in logistics. Must be a responsible self-starter with a strong work ethic and able to work independently with limited supervision. Must love working outdoors—often in remote locations. Able to live onsite, during harvest season, at the company’s harvest headquarters. Strong ability to communicate effectively with managers, colleagues, and subordinates. Must be proficient in both written and verbal communication in English (speaking, writing, and listening/understanding). Must be a champion for workplace safety and drive the Company’s safety program. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical Demands: Requires standing, sitting, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms. Ability to stand, walk, climb, and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to see clearly, with or without corrective lenses, at 20 inches or less for computer and office application duties and to see clearly at short to medium distances related to boat and general harbor-related equipment operation.
Schedule: During October through January, schedule is seven days per week. Work is performed primarily outdoors in all types of weather conditions. During February through September, schedule is typically five days per week, and is both indoors and outdoors.
General Office Aptitudes: High level of proficiency with computers and relevant software. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software with an emphasis in Excel. Aptitude to support management direction.
