GHPM is seeking organized and highly motivated individuals that are interested in a fun, outdoor summer position. Perks include flexible schedules, high market rate wages, seasonal bonus and overtime pay availability.

We currently have openings in Humble, Conroe, Spring, Klein, Cy-Fair, Katy, Richmond, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Westchase, Pearland and Dickenson areas. Position can start as soon as May 4th

-Currently certified or willing to become certified in American Red Cross (or equivalent) Lifeguard -Training/First Aid, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer.
-Bloodborne Pathogen training is also required.
-Must have the experience necessary to uphold the duties of a Manager.
-Must be able to work a minimum of thirty (thirty) open hours a week.
-Must have knowledge of pump room operations and water chemistry.
-Must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2013

Job Duties
-This is a seasonal position that will report to the Supervisor.
-Will oversee the day-to-day duties of the assigned facility.
-Wear the proper Manager uniform while on duty.
-Ensure staff is performing all lifeguarding duties and techniques as trained.
-Carry out cleaning duties including but not limited to swimming pool, bathrooms, pool area, and guard room.
-Coordinate all of the lifeguarding and cleaning schedules for the assigned facility.
-Take a leadership role in On-sites, staff meetings and in-services (physical and on-line), while ensuring staff attendance and participation.
-Attend all Manager Meetings and communicate information from meetings to assigned staff.
-Participate in the training of Assistant Managers and Head Lifeguards with pump room and cleaning duties.
-Communicate with patrons, address issues, and problem solve as needed.
-Enforce and counsel staff in all corrective actions as they arise at the assigned facility. If an employee does not maintain the standards set by GHPM corrective action must be taken.
-Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
