A typical day at the GMCVB is filled with creative meetings relating to web and email marketing efforts, hours spent working on getting a web page or email design perfect, and research into how future efforts can be more effective. I have learned a lot in my at GMCVB, particular in terms of web design, having attended conferences regarding use of technology and design for destination marketing organizations as well as to learn more about the businesses the organization serves (such as hotels, restaurants, and other local attractions). Over the last year and a half, I have built a very strong working relationship with my Director of Marketing, earning her trust in my suggestions for innovative ways to present content on the web and in emails. With her guidance and the help of the Marketing team, I have grown very comfortable with my ability to deliver top-quality work and even exceed expectations.
