Magazine Ad Sales Rep
About the Job
Traditional Media Group, a 2 year old, successful Green Living magazine company has immediate openings for independent ad sales reps, to represent the new publication, which is a monthly, magazine covering Arizona. Min. 2-5yrs magazine ad sales experience required. Candidate should have a successful sales history, enjoy working with people, be goal-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Position can be draw+ commission, book of business +commission or commission only with unlimited earning potential.
The ad rep will report directly to the publisher.
-managing existing advertisers
-attracting new advertisers
-updating our database with new leads
-updating ad-related materials, such as media kits
-working closely with the publisher, editor and art director on ad-related matters
-acting as an intermediary between advertisers and our graphic design firm on matters such as ad design, ad updates and advertiser web banners
-working in conjunction with other ad reps and the publisher on regional ad-related items, such as the concept and design of the quarterly ad postcard, which is mailed to our entire database to promote each upcoming issue
-working closely with the publisher to capitalize on related sales and marketing opportunities, such as selling eblasts
