Pros: good work ethics
Cons: it is for a rendering company so not for everyone.
This company is still family owned and operated yet has grown to multiple states. You are NOT just a number here though as upper management enteracts with all employees and you become part of their "family".. Wish I would have never left!

The personnel are the best. Upper Management is very disappointing. They leave a very bad taste in everyones mouth. Uninformed and hasty decisions.

Pros: great people at office and hourly levels
Cons: disgusting management uncaring and cold.
I feel that the personnel that are employed at griffin are the best. Some of the most productive people with great personalities. Upper Management is the exact opposite. They are old school managers that beleive that fear and intimidation are the secret to leading people. The job satisfaction is not there. The salary for the position can be researched – more...  on this site to be very bad 58% lower then the average for the industry. They avoid giving raises to very deserving employees and bump evaluations back 3 months every year so that they only give 4 raises every 5 years. This may be only the VP and District managers for the southeast division, but this type of behavior reflect on the whole company. If you are going to work for them prepare yourself to be job scared from day one. I enjoyed working with the people that worked with in Holden, and other griffin locations and will forever hold the relationships with them close to my heart. I will never forget the way I was treated by the upper management of Griffin. These two or three people have ruined the entire comapny for me. They do not know how to retain good personnel, I don't believe they want to. – less
