As a phlebotomist i know that we cant leave until the last donor is done even if im scheduled to be off, which i wouldnt mind if it wasnt every day. We arent allowed to leave until we are in ratio ( 1 phleb to 6 donors). If you have to leave on time you have to let them know since your expected to stay and even then it wont always happen.

As a Plasma Processor, I know that I will not get out at night until well after the center closes and I am scheduled to get off. I usually have to drag myself out of the car when I arrive at work because I dread going in almost every time I work.

I'm a DCT/phleb.... I love my job MOST of the time.... It gets overwhelming when donors become unruly and my only issue is the lack of pay for a job with such a high turn over rate. TPR Dayton has the best team I've seen in plasma!

As a DCT, I don't like it but I deal with it. It's the same as being a cashier at a retail job for me, but obviously dealing with blood for more pay.

Absolutely hate going to the center.
Divisional management is out of touch and believes in shotgun blast processes that make life difficult for the employees.Hours suck.
