Very rewarding work
Caregiver (Former Employee), Easton, PAJune 19, 2013
Pros: bringing a smile and encouragement to someone's day
Cons: some of the work is hard on the back
Typical day involved providing personal home care or hospice care to primarily senior aged population. Also light housekeeping , transportation, meal preparation. Most enjoyable part of job was talking with clients, learning about their lives and lessons learned from another generation. Hardest part was helping clients and families through end of life – more... care and issues. – less

would not recommend them to someone needing care
Caregiver/Companion (Current Employee), Westlake, OHDecember 6, 2012
I have been with Griswold for 5 years . They never find me constant regular work. They are always calling me for fill ins and give the long term assignments to others. I have asked constantly for work and I always get the left overs of hours and days they can't fill.
