I traveled in and out of clients home preforming different tasks. Vitals and paperwork was the beginning and following there plan of care was next. Providing confidentiality and remaining respectful were the main source of positive communication plus joking to keep the client happy. After following the plan of care i would do housework to make it less stressful if it was requested.
Productive and Fun with an Amazing Disciplinary Team
Manager - Volunteer and HR Services (Current Employee) – Franklin, TN – June 29, 2016
A typical day at work is medium paced. I learned what it takes to have a well functioning disciplinary hospice team. Management communicates great. Co-workers communicates great. Dealing with all the deaths is the hardest part of my job. The most enjoyable part of my part is interacting with our aging adults.
Being able to help our aging community of patients
Guardian Hospice is a great team, very dedicated to their patients and making end of life experience the best they can for the patients and their families. Their executive director is one of the best women, and leader you could ask for.
RN Hospice Case Manager (Former Employee) – Nampa, ID – May 28, 2013
Benefits not good. Values and Culture lacking- Home Health was more appreciated. No room to advance. "At-Will" employee, I could leave any time and they could let me go any time. Poor management from the top down. Work/Life was manageable.
