Within the 17 plus year of employment at Guardian it was very rewarding. Company have wonderful benefit and compensation packages. Advancement opportunities. Respectful and fairness toward all employees regardless your positions. The only down fall is that they began to outsource the job position from the past 7 years.

Intake Analyst (Former Employee) –  Allentown, PAJanuary 16, 2017
the salary is very slow and there is no job security. mandatory overtime during most of the year. the job itself provides some kind of freedom, however they keep most employees as temps and they end their assignment suddenly without previous notice.

QA Test Engineer (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 14, 2016
Pros

Financially sound company and highly ethical. Lots of advancement opportunities and/or lateral transfers for expanding your experience. Training is readily available and encouraged.

Cons

Company has transitioned from a pro-employee company with high morale to a company that has continued to cut into benefits and employees are not given proper respect. Morale is very, very low.

Advice to Management

Management is aware of most of the issues, but are not empowered to do anything, but tow the C-level company line. C-level changes are likely to occur over the next year or two and new leadership should do more to support the employees, while still managing investor expectations.

A Productive and fun place to work
Regional Sales Support Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJanuary 30, 2017
Appropriately staffed in all functional areas. There was always a feeling that management considered and provided appropriate tools and training to develop staff menbers for the respective roles in which they performed and als ensured that goals were attainable and expectations were realistic. This allowed emplyees the confidence that management cared and thus a place to want to work. Additionally, morale was always high as management also ensured that there was time away from the job site, for employees to participate in annual compnay wide picnic and special holiday events at christmas.
Pros
Company Subidized lunches

It is always a pleasure rapping with co-workers during lunch breaks or at socials.
Agents are on call twenty four hours to assist their clients.
Their annual "Blast Off" normally held every first Friday of each year, is always a treat to look forward to.
I take pleasure in having and still being affiliated with Guardian Holdings Group.

At times, it has been slightly tough due tough deadlines, but we have managed to deliver projects on time.

Thanks.

Sales representative and Sales Unit Manager (Former Employee) –  KingstonAugust 26, 2015
A higly sophisticated company culture and working environment. Several levels of social interaction. Involved a lot of travelling to procure sales. Based on performance job description was later changed to that of Sales Unit Management. This involved recruiting, and training of Sales Reprsentatives and less emphasis on personal selling. Work environment was stimulating and interactive. There was a wide scope for performance awrds and celebrations which was very satisfying.
Pros
Good interaction and scope for meeting new people through field visits, Very good compensation plan, Medical benefits, Good incentive awards.
Cons
Performance pressure as is expected of large sales companies, Management failing to take into consideration, the necessary training time needed to produced top Salesmen.

Management had their favorites. We were there to work 15 hours of OT each week just so that they could outsource to India!! They cut so many jobs and then built a brand new building with a gym so the lucky favorites who got to stay.
