I worked for this company for over 6 years as a grill cook for 2 different accounts. Most of the chefs were lazy and arrogant and most of the corporate people were arrogant and unfriendly. The area mngr would tell you one thing, the corporate chefs, another and the corporate " decorators" still another. The " money" people, and the culinary people are usually somewhat at odds with each other. The reason why this company is failing is because no one is on the same page. They also have too much dead weight at the corpoate level.

I am a former employee from a midwest location, and I have to say you hit this right on the head. The entire company is lacking in its "service" to the customer, as well as the companies who contract them. Not only is there no communication whatsoever, from the President down to the dishwasher, the entire system is a joke. The mission statement of the company needs to be re-written. You'll get what they give you, on the budget they set forth, and nothing more. I can guarantee it will NOT be nutritious, or the highest quality. Especially when Chef managers are pressing employees to use bad, questionable, or spoiled ingredients in the prodution of every day menus. I do not regret the experience I obtained from working for this company, but I absolutely regret all the time I wasted thinking the company was actually "for the customer".
