The Outpatient Counselor position will establish and maintain meaningful, effective, professional relationships with client(s). Provide diagnoses and treatment interventions for marital couples, family, individual, and group modalities in both the office setting and at other sites. Conduct diagnostic assessment services, mental health and AOD evaluations and assessments in order to identify client needs. Develop the Individual Service Plan (ISP), utilizing client involvement and building on client strengths. The Outpatient Counselor will empower the client to increase pro-social support networks in order to benefit their lives, and assist with daily living activities.
- Master’s Degree in social work/counseling with an Ohio LSW or PC licensure.
- Clinical experience with SED children required.
- LISW or PCC and experience and training in counseling children and/or Substance Abuse (AOD) counseling in Scope of Practice are preferred.
