Gupta Media is looking for an Online Media Coordinator to work with our growing team. Our agency specializes in three key areas: media buying, creative production and technology solutions. We work with major record labels and top entertainment companies like Sony Music, Disney, Universal Music, Warner Brothers Records, MTV Networks, Ultra Records and many others. This year we’ve worked major campaigns for Carrie Underwood, Dave Matthews Band, deadmau5, Demi Lovato, Frank Ocean, Linkin Park, Passion Pit and more.
As a member of our Digital Media team, you will help us continue to innovate within the industry. You will work with a team of Analysts to research new artists, develop comprehensive media plans and assist in managing campaigns. The role is designed to help you learn about online marketing and familiarize yourself with the different tools we’ve built and platforms that we use to achieve our goals. Our team prides itself on being innovative, competitive and disruptive in the digital space. You will develop a passion for, and become an expert in, the following areas:
Digital Marketing – This includes Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter, Facebook Ads, Twitter Promoted Products and other platforms. Not only do we use these platforms to improve projects for our clients, but we also work with vendors to improve the products themselves. Last year, we helped Google design a new type of search ad specifically used for promoting music.
Media Planning – You will be responsible for providing background research and assisting Analysts with putting together proposals and media plans for different requests that come in. An interest in statistical analysis will help you in this role.
Social Media – Whether you’re writing Facebook posts to promote new albums or using Twitter Search to find out what people are saying about an artist, social media will be deeply-engrained in your work here. Copywriting skills a plus. Gupta Media is located at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Kendall Square, home to many other tech-focused companies. In addition to interaction and collaboration among tenants, we have access to state-of-the-art technology, fully-stocked kitchens and shared lounge and conference space. Employees at Gupta Media enjoy health, dental and vision insurance, profit sharing, 401(k), annual performance bonuses and many other great perks. Required Skills and Education
