Pros: seeing a lot of the country
Cons: unable to maintain budget with pay
Check over truck and make sure operational. Get delivery location and unload. Get new assignment was a typical day. I learned operation of qualcomm system. The management and my co-workers were great. Dispatchers always tried to keep me moving. Having to wait for load was hardest part of my job. Driving across country was the most enjoyable part of job got to see a lot of country.

I load and secure goods on a flatbed trailer and transport them from shipper to the customer. I is a very good place to work where you are treated like family. I feel the hardest part of the job is having to tarp the load after the shipper tarps the load improperly.
Flatbed driver OTR (Current Employee), Savannah, GA – March 11, 2014
Pays well. Really good management. You will drive in hazardous conditions but you are very well trained. You train for about 2-3 weeks depending on how you feel. They are a good rounded company and are very easy to work with.

Pros: good miles, good equipment, staff
Cons: truck driver hours in general
Good company which general provides decent miles and freight for its drivers. home every weekend, although not always on Fridays. driver managers know you by name rather than truck number and work with you to achieve your goals
