Proactively seek clinical professionals ( RN Case Managers, Directors of Nursing, Nurse Educators, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, LMSW) from all available sources (Internet, advertising, databases, networking events and internet postings).
Seek referrals from existing employees and candidates from the database.
Maintain contact with inactive candidates.
Seek out contact with subcontractors and other recruiting sources to fill "hard to fill" job orders.
Interviewing and Evaluation of Candidates
Interview candidates in person and via telephone.
Qualify candidates using the available job description information, references, screens and test sources.
Prepare and write candidate summaries and revise/finalize resume's for submission to clients.
Document and track screening activity in the designated database.
Collect required documentation for client ( Medical compliance, Employment verification, Reference Checks, Drug Screens and Background screens.)
Provide Candidates follow-up on send outs and current market status.
Coordinate interviews with candidates.

The therapy department has excellent leadership which focuses on quality of care while closely upholding the ethical and regulatory standards of CMS and DOH. There is a value for continuing education and involvement in the local, state, and national Physical Therapy Association activities. There is opportunity to learn through involvement in clinical specialty teams. The biggest challenge is the company culture has a strong focus on productivity and efficiency, which does impact work life balance.
