Looking for someone with experience in the follow;
Experience with these tools, in order of importance:
1)Indepth experience HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) v7.5x
2)Experience with BMC Configuration Automation for Networks (BCAN) - or similar configuration automation tools is required.
3)Indepth Experience with Perl and UNIX shell scripting
4)Experience with MRTG
Candidate should have some familiarity with these tools: 1)NetFlow Tracker 2)Ciena ON-Center 3)Remedy A thorough understanding of network technologies (e.g. IP, SNMP, IP routing and switching, optical networking) is required. The position’s major clients are in the Telecommunications group; candidate must have good communication skills to work with these areas to understand client requirements and provide effective monitors for the voice and data networks.

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at HP?
Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

I always see these posting for HP here in Houston. I see:
ITO Support Specialist V, III, IV, etc...
They always seem to be contracted out. I applied to a few of them but never hear back.
Does anyone know if these jobs are cool or do they suck or are these just bogus jobs HP posts to collect resumes?

I've been interviewing w/HP for an engineering position, but have been too embarrassed to ask about this...does anyone know if they allow people to bring their dogs to work? (non customer facing role; silicon valley.) I know some may regard this as a stupid question; whatever.
Any intel on dogs at apple would also be much appreciated.
