Senior Financial Analyst (Current Employee), Palo Alto, CAJuly 26, 2014
Pros: there are plenty of great employers out there
Cons: no work-life balance
No work-life balance. No vision. People keep getting laid off so more work goes to those who remain, but there are no pay increases.

Too many cooks in the kitchen
Project Manager (Former Employee), Cupertino, CAJuly 18, 2014
Pros: training
Cons: management, healthcare
Too many cooks in the kitchen. EDS management was more family oriented and cared more about the employees work-life. The people manager really cared about the employees concerns and did something about it. When HP purchased EDS everything went downhill; now the people managers don't care about anything but billable hours.

Amazing place to work!
Executive Assistant/Products Event Coordinator (Former Employee), Vancouver, WAJuly 18, 2014
Pros: excellent benefits, working with great people, advancement options.
This was as well, one of my favorite positions. I gained much knowledge and was able to expand my current job role by taking on more responsibilities and by doing this, gained additional transferrable skills for future positions.

I enjoyed the people, culture and management was exceptional and had the opportunity for advancement into a promotion while – more... employed with hp.

The most enjoyable parts of the job were working with the amazingly brilliant, fun and friendly people. – less

Technology Services Sales Representative (Former Employee), CaliforniaJuly 17, 2014
Pros: great benefits, work life balance and flexibility
Cons: pay, management, opportunity for advancement
HP is downsizing dramatically. So, although it is a great place to work, there are Workforce reductions taking place all of the time. I was in technology services sales and traveled 25% of the time with all expenses paid and got the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. However, it is my understanding that they are moving away from allowing people – more... to work from home. – less
